Hello World! 

Anyone here must have heard that we've decided to leave the sunny California coast for a new (to me) life in the French Basque Country. "We" are Francis and Diane but *I* am the one leaving my rut to explore and experience something VERY new to me!

Having been born, raised, and always living within about 30 miles of my birthplace, this is bound to be a unique and memorable chapter of my story.

I'm embarking on this documentation journey mainly just for me but I welcome you to tag along for the adventure. Hopefully, we'll all have a bit of fun and you can learn something from our new experiences.
